While it's good to finally see you giving some credit to someone other than yourself for something, I've got to wonder what you're trying to scheme with this journal entry.

I know some of you are probably saying "WTF X, shes being nice and crediting someone for awesome work. Stop being a dick"

... But wait, lets take a look past the bullshit mmmkay?

Lets point out whats wrong in the picture:

She thanks him for designing the layout and swears by his coding and artwork.

But none of the artwork on there is from him and the flow of the profile content, which is really part of a layout, isn't even close to his typical style.

The only thing she has on there she could thank him for is the modified coding.

Call me Cynical X on this one. lulz

She's told me that she's spoken to Kayleigh AND the author and that she told them that it was a guy who was abusing her that SET HER UP yet, he didn't make the artwork. SHE did. Just admit your shit and move the fuck forward. If you CAN'T DO THE TIME, you BETTER NOT commit that crime. I NEVER committed a crime that I couldn't do the time standing on my head. Why?? Cause I don't wanna go to jail for any longer than 30 days HAHAHAHA So I don't commit no ridiculous crimes like that where you KNOW your ass is WRONG. I mean, you know you're wrong for stealing a candy bar and I'm not saying that I'm not wrong for things that I've done, BUT I WENT TO JAIL. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I paid my debt to society MORE THAN ONCE so it PISSES ME OFF when people wanna play like they "never did anything wrong". This poor girl really believes her lies I think. She's told me that she's told the author and that artist that they're not pressing charges OR suing because of what that man did to her.

Yet she doesn't realize one thing..

That's bullshit because this guy really has NO CHOICE but to sue her in the hopes that FIVE OTHERS do not sue him. She doesn't understand that she can't BULLSHIT her way out of a fucking FELONY. It doesn't work like that.

Well you got the title of it right, problem is you were talking about yourself. So Catelyn Auker, Illustrator extraordinaire, lets just get right into this.

I'll give you the benefit of doubt, you "designed" the graphics, meaning you artistically (and I use that lightly) put together everything to form a whole image but when you go on to call yourself an Illustrator ... well I just have to call bullshit.

Lets take a look at the book found at the second amazon link, The Welkin Exile. This is a post about it from it's Facebook page.

So here is the "Original artwork" that the cover is eventually designed from.

And here is the Facebook post with the finished covers.

Some darkening, cropping, blue tint added...minor things.

I'll be damned if everything doesn't look familiar though. I wonder why? .....OHHHHH that's right GOOGLE

That hooded figure on the back cover? yep that's a copyrighted pencil drawing by Kayleigh Semeniuk.

The forests behind it is nothing more then a google search for dark forest away and you too can have it.

Let's see... the other book, well lets make this simple because I can already see you didn't create it yourself.

You used the same hooded figure front and back here.

Now see a vindictive person might take those amazon links and the information here then try contacting the actual artists to let them know you and the authors are trying to use unauthorized materials for profit. They might even give Amazon customer support a little jingle to report the items.

People don't understand the difference between stock artwork, which you can usually buy a license to use, and non-licensed artwork, which you can't use without permission, etc, etc.

I bet the book publisher will find out soon enough when the artist does, it's only a matter of time, lol.
